Description
A white artificial stone top, 20mm thick, cut to suit the MILAN 900mm vanity. It is supplied undrilled — no tap holes and no basin — and it is silica free.
Cut for the MILAN 900mm
This is the top sized for that cabinet, so the width and the overhang are already right and there is nothing to trim on site. This page is for the top on its own, which is what you want if you are replacing a damaged top or adding one to a cabinet bought earlier.
Supplied silica free
In Australia, engineered stone benchtops, panels and slabs containing 1 per cent or more crystalline silica are prohibited from supply, manufacture, processing and installation. Products below that 1 per cent threshold sit outside the ban. This top is supplied silica free, so it can be handled and cut in the normal way. If your stonemason wants the specification sheet before quoting, ask us and we will send it through.
Undrilled is a choice, not an omission
A top with no holes in it lets you settle the basin and the tap after the top is on site. Three arrangements are open to you.
- Above counter basin — sits on top, so no cut-out is needed at all. One tap hole for a tall mixer, or none if the tap is going on the wall.
- Inset or undermount basin — the top is cut to the basin’s template, so the basin has to be chosen first.
- Wall mounted mixer — no holes in the top at all, which is the cleanest finish and the reason a lot of people choose an undrilled top.
Whichever you pick, the drilling is done once and cannot be undone, so it is worth having the basin on site before the stonemason starts.
