A wall-spout combo puts the spout and the mixer together on the wall, so nothing sits on the benchtop or on the basin at all. It is the cleanest way to finish a bathroom where the basin is a shallow bowl or a stone slab you would rather not drill.
The range covers one-piece and two-piece combos from the Mica, Mica Fluted, Mica Heritage, LVB Mica, Beki, Eleniko and Kaza ranges, with round and square wall plates.
One-piece or two-piece wall spout combo
A one-piece combo has the spout and the control on a single plate. Less to tile around, fewer holes in the wall, and a tidier line — the usual choice on a new bathroom.
A two-piece separates them, with the spout above and the mixer below on its own plate. That lets you set the height of each independently, which matters when the basin is unusually tall or the splashback runs high.
The measurement that decides everything here is spout projection. The water has to land in the middle of the bowl, not on the back edge, so measure from the finished wall face to the centre of the basin and check that against the spout reach. Getting this wrong on a wall-mounted spout is expensive, because the outlet is already in the wall.
Also decide early. A wall combo needs the plumbing brought up through the wall rather than the vanity, so the plumber needs to know before the rough-in.
