These are the parts that turn a sink into a working prep area — boards that sit across the bowl, racks that drain into it, grids that sit in the bottom, and the drain fittings themselves.

The range covers chopping boards, roll-out drying mats, stainless drainer trays, protection grids and sink drains with caps, from the Dante, Impact and Luminare ranges.

What each one does

• Chopping boards sit across the bowl and give you a cutting surface over the sink, with the offcuts going straight down. On a small bench that is the difference between having prep space and not.
• Roll-out drying mats unroll across the bowl for draining, then roll up and go in a drawer. They suit a kitchen with no dedicated drainer.
• Stainless drainer trays drop into the bowl or sit beside it, and hold plates on edge.
• Protection grids sit in the bottom of the bowl so pans rest on the grid rather than the steel.
• Drains and caps are the waste fittings themselves — the replacement part when the original starts to leak or the finish no longer matches a new tap.

The important thing with the boards, mats and grids is that they are sized to specific sinks. A grid made for a 440mm bowl will not sit properly in a 380mm one, and a board cut for a square bowl will rock on a round one. Check the sink model these are listed against before ordering.
