Work flat across the surface

Unlike a cutting blade, the diamond segments sit on the face of the cup so the wheel is used across the slab or wall. This makes it useful for reducing high spots, removing compatible residue and blending uneven areas before the next finish is applied. The listed #80–100 grade supports controlled material removal.
